June 11, 2019 ~ Today the USWNT plays their first game of the 2019 World Cup. If you’re a sports fan and you’re not in love with this team…I just don’t know what to say. I can’t wait to see them fight to become the repeat world champions!

I wanted to put together a little photo set to say “good luck”. I’m sure none of them will ever see it, but it was super-fun to do anyway. If you’ve ever seen the ESPN Body Issue, you’ll hopefully recognize these photos as a tribute to the beautiful photos that appear in that magazine every year. Current USWNT players Crystal Dunn, Julie Ertz, Ali Krieger, Christen Press, and Megan Rapinoe have all appeared in the Body Issue. I’m pretty sure Alex Morgan and Mallory Pugh are holding out in hopes of having me shoot them (BAHAHAHA…ok, but seriously…if either of you two rock stars ever needs some photos, I know a guy).

So anyway, this is my Body Issue Wannabe set. Huge huge huge thanks to the wonderful Marguerite, a rock star in her own right — one of the most amazing aerialists you’ll ever see — who was kind enough to play “soccer star” for me on very short notice. You rock.
