The parade of awesome tattoos continues with the lovely Piper. Enjoy!
About Piper’s Tattoos
The collage on my upper back started with the Breast Cancer pink ribbon and flowers I first had done when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Every year or so I get a few more flowers added when her tests come up clear. Its been 5 years. The next piece was the Piper originally sketched by my derby wife Suri Brawl. The 3 pyramids of Giza symbolize the trilogy of my family (mom, dad, brother) and the eye of Ra (mirror image to the eye of horus) is placed in the middle — feminine counterpart to the sun god Ra and a violent force that subdues her enemies. Like Wild Bill Hickok I like having an eye watching my back. Another asp wraps around my arm like Egyptian women adorned themselves with jewelry and my son’s names written in Arabic — along with a phrase meaning “Live with Courage” written below them.
